The Teutonia Maennerchor - NWOhio's German-American singers will sponsor their 28th annual Kornfest Chicken BBQ Saturday, August 13th, 2005 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Oak Shade Grove, 3624 Seaman Rd., (near Coy Rd.), Oregon, OH. the much loved Deutschmeister Band under the direction of Harold Waters will play for your enjoyment and singing along. Other activities for the evening's 'fun' will be on hand. Along with 'all the corn you can eat' carry-outs will be available. Toledo Filmmakers is an organization dedicated to promoting
and supporting the local filmmaking community, both amateur and
professional. We profess to foster all aspects of filmmaking including, but not limited to fiction, non-fiction, features, shorts, educational, commercial, documentaries, animations, writing, acting, directing, special effects, lighting, sound, music, and cinematography. "Celebrating Creative Capital"
The City of Toledo unveiled its strategic plan for arts and culture at the Mayor's November 14th Summit on the Arts, Education and Technology. The plan was created by Mayor Jack Ford's Task Force for Arts and Culture, a committee consisting of 40 volunteers in the business, education and arts industries in Northwest Ohio. [more info]
